“The Universal Energy Is Present For Us All”
I’ve been asked this question a lot throughout the years.
I always thought that the answer was a simple “No.”
But, like with everything, we evolve. We learn and experience new things and discover that 2+2 is not always 4.
Let me explain …
My awareness began to grow when I discovered what actually happens when practicing Reiki. Discussing this topic with my mentors and fellow practitioners led to the conclusion that … “It depends.”
How so … you might be wondering.
It all depends on your lifestyle and how you perceive the essence of Reiki.
The Universal Energy Is Everywhere
The name Reiki simply brings together a millenary concept that states that we exist through the presence of a universal force. This keeps everything connected and in place.
The Christians call it “light.” In Buddhism is known as “Chi.” In Hinduism, “Prana” and in Shintoism, “Rei-Ki” or universal energy. And it doesn’t stop here. There are many more, but these are the main ones.
Yet, what’s important is that the life force energy flows through the universe. It transitions everything from the planets to our bodies.
So, one can safely assume that we are all connected to this universal energy.
This connection enables us to manifest the energy in our lives. However, its influence is limited only by our commitment to living an authentic spiritual life.
Obviously, there is the human component.
We are in the physical plane for a reason, and our power is limited. The good news is that we don’t need to worry about that. We only have to focus on becoming better than yesterday. As long as we progress, we will push our limits but at a rate that is in harmony with our natural rhythm.
The Role Of A Reiki Attunement
The Reiki attunement opens up our energetic pathways. It allows us to channel the energy in a disciplined and controlled manner.
It provides access to symbols and various manifestations of the universal life force energy.
The attunement is there to amplify the effect and help us practice more efficiently.
Still, it’s not a plug-and-play solution.
Some are less sensitive than others, so the energy is felt differently.
But… it still works. And there are different ways to enhance this connection.
One does not have to limit to Reiki. The universal energy is there regardless. It’s just that, in my experience, Reiki is the most efficient and flexible way to balance.
Practicing Reiki Without An Attunement
That being said, if you’re not attuned to Reiki but wish to establish a healthy connection to the universal life force energy, here are a few things you can do:
- Spend time with yourself in a comfortable environment at home or in nature;
- Meditate for as long as you feel like it;
- Seek to reconnect with your inner self;
- Be open to answers without having specific questions;
- Allow each body part to connect with the universal life force energy and consciously experience this feeling;
- Visualize how your crown chakra is the main conductor;
This time spent with yourself should gradually fill your body with energy and guide you toward a higher vibration.
Try to do this from time to time. Getting closer to nature in this manner will positively impact both your body and soul.
Consuming raw fruits and vegetables will help facilitate the energy flow. It’s a way to step aside from processed foods and place your body in a state of healing.
Some even recommend fasting for 3 days and drinking only water. This exercise might be a bit extreme, and not everyone can do it. Still, it’s something to consider but pursue it with caution. It requires almost zero activity and minimal distractions. There’s no pressure with this one, though.
Exercise A Positive Perception Of Yourself And The World
We all go through challenging moments in life. Instead of pointing fingers, it’s healthier to just do something about it.
- Find forgiveness towards yourself first and then others. It’s a way to detach from those energies and create a healing vibration;
- Learning to love yourself and even the ones that hurt you at one point seals the healing process;
- Be kind;
- Accept critics but let others worry about them;
- Find your own way and slowly but surely travel towards a better you;
- Do your part, and the universe will help you find balance;
Study Spiritual Practices
Whether that’s Reiki or something else, find one you relate to and pursue it with joy.
Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Theta Healing, Divination, or Angel meditation are some of the avenues you can take.
Be aware that time waits for no one, so it’s vital to Make a decision and take action. You can always adjust on the way.
